First there was the puppy.

Then there was the crate.
Then the puppy, who was once very skinny, became stronger and stronger.
So plastic wire ties were used to hold the crate together.
The wire ties were placed where the crate hooked/latched together.
But somehow the puppy got the wire ties off of the crate.
Then more drastic means were taken to secure the crate.
Then more drastic measures were used to secure every corner of the crate.
So finally, daddy devised a means that was both simple and secure.
Times two.
The reverse wing nuts were, if I may say so myself, an inspired piece of thinking.
It used to be the case that puppy didn't mind going into the crate because she knew that she could get out. Not so much anymore.
This was originally filmed as entertainment for her talents with her tongue, but in retrospect it now seems that more sinister forces were at work.
And, lest you think that her life is all a lonely cage, see the evidence to the contrary below.
Not a bad life at all...
