I think it started badly as it seems that they were drinking vodka. Sharing a bottle might have been ok, but each with their own bottle seems like trouble.
Despite the claims of “defending him” clearly, James Murdoch is seen pushing his father towards "the attacker" (a man with a pie tin of shaving cream).
Rupert's wife Wendi (in pink) makes a great "goal-line" dive to give the "attacker" a dope smack to the top of the head.
Fortunately, a waiter with a white bow tie and tails quickly rushed onto the scene. Although s/he seems to not be rushing to clean things up. Maybe she wanted to make sure that everyone had enough vodka.
And the fact that Wife Wendi seems to be about the same age as Rupert's son James is just creepy.
Can't we just send them back to the Outback?
