Have to give Lance his props for winning Leadville.

Some folks aren't happy that he brought some friends to help him. Some folks aren't happy that a "roadie" won it. (The guy doesn't even know how to change a flat, for pete's sakes. "I don't normally change flats. I call the car and they fix it." ). Some folks aren't happy that a "doper" has tainted their pure sport.

But the guy smashed it. He rode 65 of the 100 miles alone. Granted, the guy is a couple of years younger than the the defending champion Dave Wiens, but still, he smashed it.

And since Dave is a class act, why can't we all be?
