For the first time in it's 16 year history, the 24 Hours of Allamuchy was cut short due to weather and safety conditions.
Friday night brought almost an inch of rain, so the course that we pre-rode on Friday afternoon no longer existed, being replaced with a much different, much wetter one. After slogging through a number of laps, the rains started up again around 7:00, dumping more than another inch of rain before finally stopping around midnight.
Thunder and lighting were no additional charge.
